Crack Burgers: Why Quality Ingredients and Texture Make All the Difference

1 pound ground beef
3 tablespoons sour cream
3 tablespoons ranch dressing powder
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
Neutral oil
3 tablespoons mayo
1 tablespoon grainy mustard
1 tablespoon chili sauce, the Western kind
3 buns
Lettuce & tomato for serving
Instructions
Put all the patty ingredients in a large bowl, and mix well to combine – just don’t overwork the meat too much
Heat griddle or cast iron pan to medium high, add a little oil and put on the patties, cook until they’re done to your liking – but be careful flipping them over as they’re pretty soft
While they cook, combine the mayo, mustard and chili sauce – mix and set aside
Toast buns, and when patties are ready build with some sauce and lettuce & tomato
