Crack Burgers: Why Quality Ingredients and Texture Make All the Difference

  • Author: Nairaibrahem
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons ranch dressing powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

  • Neutral oil
  • 3 tablespoons mayo
  • 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce, the Western kind
  • 3 buns
  • Lettuce & tomato for serving

Instructions

  1. Put all the patty ingredients in a large bowl, and mix well to combine – just don’t overwork the meat too much
  2. Heat griddle or cast iron pan to medium high, add a little oil and put on the patties, cook until they’re done to your liking – but be careful flipping them over as they’re pretty soft
  3. While they cook, combine the mayo, mustard and chili sauce – mix and set aside
  4. Toast buns, and when patties are ready build with some sauce and lettuce & tomato
