Some of the biggest names in Hollywood took to social media on Thursday to give fans an inside look at their holiday celebrations with loved ones.
From the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to lavish spreads at home, take a look at how celebrities are spending Turkey Day in 2022.
The pregnant author of the “Cravings” cookbook documented her full Thanksgiving meal prep via Instagram Stories this week, with the process starting the day before.
She gave fans a sneak peek at the deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie desserts she was whipping up for her husband, John Legend, and their two children, Luna and Miles.
The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the host also started his Thanksgiving preparations early.
The TV personality shared a photo of himself Wednesday holding a turkey, encouraging fans to help those less fortunate.
“Help @StJosephCtr bring food to families in need this Thanksgiving,” she wrote. “No amount is too small – [my wife] Molly and I are going to match $50k! Link to donate in bio.
The ‘Twilight’ star had a special Thanksgiving this year, as it marked her first as a mom.
The actress, who welcomed daughter Kingsley Rainn with husband Paul Khoury in September, shared an adorable snap of her mini-me in a white onesie.
“Haven’t even had 🦃 — already in a food coma,” she captioned the sweet pic.
Former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama also took to social media to commemorate the holiday.
“I hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with love, gratitude and lots of great food,” the former First Lady wrote. “From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving!”
Barack added via his Instagram Stories: “As we celebrate, we give thanks for all the blessings in our lives and give back when we can. We also think of the brave men and women who serve our country far from their homes.”
The TV personality — who is expecting her second child with husband Ben Domenech — jokingly referred to herself as “a stuffed turkey” in a snap shared via her Instagram Stories.
The daughter of the late politician John McCain also took to Twitter to send well wishes to her followers.
“Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone!” she wrote. “Thinking of all those who have lost a loved one and find holidays difficult and inspiring.
“You’re not alone, especially part of the dead parent club,” she added. “And to everyone else: there is nothing in politics worth losing love and family over. xo.”

The ‘Stranger Things’ star told fans she’s ‘thankful’ for a lot in 2022.
“Thankful for many people, things and animals,” she captioned a series of photos, in which she wore a pink bikini as she posed with boyfriend Jake Bongiovi.
The “Glee” alum opened the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with his rendition of “Don’t Rain On My Parade.”
This 2022 event featured 28 floats, 12 marching bands, 700 clowns and performances by the likes of Paula Abdul, Sean Paul, The Roots, Jordan Sparks, Big Time Rush and Gloria Estefan.
The host of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” was also part of the annual televised parade in New York City.
He appeared a few times during the parade and posed for several social media snaps with an array of performers.
The “Chicago” star spent the holidays with family, including husband Michael Douglas and sons Dylan and Carys Douglas.
“Happy Thanksgiving to Americans near and far,” the actress wrote via Instagram.
“With work commitments this year, we’re not in turkey mode but serious mode of gratitude for the blessings of health, happiness, and family. Love to you all.
The Bravo executive producer was visibly excited to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Herald Square with friends.
“I’m really freaking out,” she said in an Instagram story. “This is nonstop.”
Meanwhile, Al Rocker watched the parade at home with his family after having to sit out the festivities for the first time in 27 years.
“Okay, this is my version of the Thanksgiving Day parade,” she said in a video shared on Instagram. “I am preparing to leave the hospital. It’s time to blow up this taco stand. Woohoo!
